DATA CENTER
A data center is the site/building where the network elements, storage, and computing systems that companies and other organizations use to organize, process, store, and distribute large amounts of data are located.
The sector’s strong growth has posed a challenge for manufacturers, given the security and control requirements needed for these facilities. Any data center installation, regardless of its size and/or classification, has security fires, theft, unauthorized access, etc. as one of its top priorities, which is where CIMESA works directly with project managers, architects, property owners, etc.
CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE
European Directive 2008/114/EC of 8 December 2008 defines critical infrastructure as: «The asset, system, or part thereof located in Member States which is essential for the maintenance of vital societal functions, health, safety, security, economic or social well-being of people, and the disruption or destruction of which would have a significant impact in a Member State as a result of the failure to maintain those functions.»
The design, manufacturing, and fine-tuning of the doors required for these facilities demands significant effort from manufacturers to meet the required standards.
CONSTRUCTION
The construction industry is one of the most dynamic sectors of the Spanish economy, requiring increasingly demanding solutions every day. Through its Projects and Tenders Department, CIMESA collaborates with architecture firms, developers, etc., to define the doors required for the project in compliance with current regulations (Spain’s Technical Building Code, CTE), as well as their integration into the aesthetic finish.
HOSPITALS
The specific characteristics of these buildings require prepared teams to handle the large volumes typically involved; management, planning, and execution technicians work together with construction companies and site management (DF) to define and carry out projects.
PASSIVHAUS
Respect for the environment increasingly requires us to consider manufacturing products that help reduce buildings’ energy demands. CIMESA has designed a door that has been tested inside a building to meet this construction concept.
MODULAR CONSTRUCTION
