FIRE DOORS
USE
Fire doors are installed to prevent the spread of a fire, allowing for the rapid evacuation of the premises. Thanks to their thermal insulation and structural design, these doors withstand high temperatures, resisting the spreading fire and acting as a barrier that blocks its path.
QUALITIES

Integrity
Withstands the effects of fire on the exposed face, without allowing it to spread to the unexposed face through the escape of flames or gases.

Insulation
Withstands the effects of fire on the exposed face, without allowing heat transfer to expand to the opposite face.

Resistance time
Fire resistance of 30, 60, 90, or up to 120 minutes.

Durability
Maintains clearances, forces, and opening/closing speeds without showing defects after undergoing a significant number of opening and closing cycles.
INTENSIVE USE
Mandatory in any type of building, whether public, large-scale, or a simple home, fire doors range from simple products for single-family homes to highly complex constructions for theaters, educational centers, etc., whether due to their size or aesthetic finishes.
These doors are typically installed in strategic areas of the building, dividing the space into multiple sectors. Therefore, if one of these sectors catches fire, the fire doors will make it harder for the fire to spread to adjacent sectors.
FEATURES
Following the requirements of its clients’ projects, where doors of different designs and sizes are needed, CIMESA has firmly committed from the outset to becoming the leading company in product range. This means having tested doors up to 3,600 mm high and 2,400 mm wide, and together with the extrapolations allowed under the relevant standards, CIMESA can reach doors up to 4,600 mm high and 3,000 mm wide, depending on the required fire resistance and intended use.
They are made of steel with a thickness between 0.8 mm and 1.5 mm, with welded hinges that provide greater strength and durability, and internal insulation according to the required resistance and size.
A wide range of hardware from different manufacturers and designs, such as mechanical and electronic locks, arm/track/concealed closers, handles, panic bars, access-control hardware, and door-status devices such as magnetic contacts and cable transfers can be installed on CIMESA doors, as they fall within the broad range of approved and certified products required.
