PASSIVHAUS

passivhaus-cimesa-montaje

Passivhaus is an energy concept that can be applied to any architectural style, construction method, or material. Energy consumption is reduced to a minimum by applying passive measures for insulation, airtightness, forced ventilation, and heat recovery from the air.

As a defined standard, this type of construction requires meeting minimum measurable requirements. This allows us to compare a building’s quality and performance.

CIMESA has successfully tested its doors in Passivhaus constructions, applying the criteria needed to achieve optimal insulation and airtightness measurements, reaching CLASS 4 in air permeability under test standard UNE-EN 12207:2017 (Windows and doors — Air permeability).

It also achieves an acoustic insulation of Rw 45 dBa under standard UNE EN ISO 140-3:1995.

COMMITTED TO THE ENVIRONMENT

CIMESA, committed to the environment and social wellbeing, incorporates measures into its product certification program aimed at manufacturing products with a positive impact on people and the planet, making them safer and more sustainable, and turning them into a preferred standard product for responsible purchasing decisions.
